The process is important to manage what really matters for companies and also identifies risks and opportunities. You could also say that materiality is synonym to ‘relevance’.
In this blog post Joyce gives examples of questions that can be put forward for specific sectors in Brazil in order to understand which themes and issues can be identified as material.
